DAY 1 - Monday 15th March ‘21     HOME - GOULBURN           (L,D)

Welcome aboard for a delightful tour of adventure, relaxation and spectacular sightseeing. Today we travel along the Highway to Gundagai where we stop for lunch. We then continue our journey, stopping enroute for afternoon tea, before arriving in Goulburn for our overnight stay at Mercure Goulburn – be enticed by the country charm of Australia’s first inland city. Perfectly positioned just two hours from the coast – a world rich in heritage, culture, natural beauty and adventure.

DAY 2 – Tuesday 16th    BLUE   MOUNTAINS      (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we take a Goulburn Town Tour. We enjoy morning tea in Berrima time to spend in the historic shops. A great way to discover the village is on the self-guided Berrima Heritage Walk. Stop by the Berrima Courthouse, a Regency-style design built in the 1830s from hand-hewn standstone. Stop for a drink at one of Australia’s oldest licensed pubs, the Surveyor General Inn, built by convicts in 1834 from local sandstone. The leafy streets are lined with outdoor cafes and interesting shops. The grand and picturesque Bendooley Estate on the edge of town is home to an incredible Book Barn with thousands of old and new books. We enjoy lunch at the Peachtree Hotel. After lunch we visit the Museum of Fire. The Museum’s collection is of national importance as it celebrates the heroic history of the Firefighters and Fire services in Australia. We continue on to our accommodation for the next two weeks Fairmont Resort & Spa, Blue Mountains – MGallery by Sofitel.

DAY 3 – Wednesday 17th   FAIRMONT RESORT & SPA    (B,L,D)

Relax and enjoy breakfast. Today is yours to do as you please. Relax, explore & engage your senses at the Fairmont Resort & Spa Blue Mountains. Located in a World Heritage listed area, our Blue Mountains accommodation is 90 minutes west of Sydney. The Blue Mountains hotel includes indoor & outdoor pool, tennis courts, kids rooms, three restaurants and the brand new Ubika Day Spa. Enjoy scenic walking tracks, golf at the adjacent Leura Golf Course or visit Leura Village & Wentworth Falls. The new Ubika Day Spa is available for guests to rejuvenate, relax, restore & revitalise themselves amid a stunning Jamison Valley location. This exceptional Blue Mountains hotel has charming villages to explore in the area, 18 hole golf course & Segway tour.

DAY 4 – Thursday 18th  SCENIC WORLD - SYDNEY                      (B,D)

After a delicious breakfast we head of to Scenic World. Less than two hours from Sydney, Scenic World is renowned for providing the ultimate Blue Mountains adventure – from native birdlife and fresh air, to breathtaking views of the world Heritage-listed regions including the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls and Jamison Valley. Journey on the world's steepest incline railway, glide between clifftops on the glass-floored Skyway suspended 270 metres in the air, descend into the ancient Jamison Valley by Cableway, explore Jurassic rainforest along the 2.4 kilometres walkway - the longest boardwalk in Australia. We enjoy a tranquil picnic lunch in the Botanical Gardens, an oasis of 30 hectares in the heart of the city. Wrapped around Sydney Harbour, the Gardens occupy one of Sydney’s most spectacular positions. Established in 1816, it is the oldest scientific institution in the country and is home to an outstanding collection of plants from Australia and overseas. From the provocative rare and threatened plants of the world to the romantic rose garden, the themed garden areas show the diverse beauty of nature. We return to our motel for two nights at the Sofitel Darling Harbour.

DAY 5 – Friday 19th      ZOO – OPERA HOUSE – TALL SHIPS      (B,L,D)

Following breakfast we depart for Taronga Zoo. Taronga cares for over 5,000 animals from over 350 species, many of which are threatened. Enjoy animals such as Sumatran Tigers, Asian Elephants, Chimpanzee, Giraffe, Meerkats, Gorillas, Red Kangaroo, Koalas, Tree Kangaroos, Sun Bears, Honeyeaters, frogs and so much more. Then we enjoy a Sydney Opera House Tour. Uncover the stories, history and magic of the Sydney Opera House with an incredible guided tour, taking you underneath the world-famous sails. We also get another view of the Sydney Opera House when we join the Sydney Tall Ships for a lunch cruise. Cruise along Sydney Harbour in comfort on a traditional tall-ship and even help hoist the sails! Enjoy a delicious meal as you let the crew cater to your every need and see Sydney’s dazzling opera house and Harbour Bridge shimmer on the quay. Following this memorable experience, we delight in some free time in Sydney for some retail therapy before returning to our motel.

DAY 6 – Saturday 20th           FLIGHT - HOME                     (B)

After a hearty breakfast it's time to farewell Sydney! We head to the airport for our flight back to Melbourne, where we are met by a Cardwells representative, and begin our journey back to our respective homes after a great tour!
