Day 1 – Thursday 2nd September ’21 MELBOURNE-PERTH (D)

This morning we make our way to Tullamarine Airport for our flight to Perth. On arrival, we are met by our coach and begin with an introductory tour of Perth, including the Botanical Gardens and Kings Park, where we enjoy the panoramic views of the city across the Swan River.  Kings Park and Botanic Garden is Perth's favourite park. It is internationally renowned for its plant displays, spectacular views and cultural heritage.

We settle in for Our Overnight Stay at the lovely Hyatt Regency, Perth.

Day 2 – Friday 3rd NEW NORCIA – GERALDTON (B,D)

This morning we make our way to New Norcia, a charming town influenced by the Spanish Settlers.  We visit the Benedictine Museum, with its priceless treasures. We then travel to Geraldton, which is a thriving regional city, overlooking the Indian Ocean and supporting a growing population.   We settle in for our Two Nights at the Ocean Centre Hotel Geraldton. 

Day 3 – Saturday 4th WILDFLOWER DAY (B,D)

A full day devoted to discovering the Best of Western Australia’s Wildflowers. Western Australian wildflowers are renowned as being one of the most spectacular wildflower displays in the world. The rugged landscape comes alive with a blaze of brilliant colours and lush scents. Western Australian Wildflowers appear in different areas each year. We wait and choose the best areas for you.  

Day 4 –Sunday 5th PINNACLES - PERTH (B,D)

We make our way to the amazing Pinnacles, a moonscape of coloured quartz with fantastic limestone pillars.  Be sure to bring your camera.  We then return to the Hyatt Regency, Perth for the Next Three Nights, with time to freshen up before dinner.   

Day 5- Monday 6th ROTTNEST ISLAND (B, L, D)

An exciting day awaits as we board the Rottnest Express, enjoy a Swan River Cruise, tour of Rottnest Island with lunch included. Just 19 km off the coast of Perth, but an entire world away, lies the sunny holiday island of Rottnest. Blessed with a casual atmosphere, picturesque scenery, dazzling marine life and some of the world's finest beaches and pristine bays, Rottnest Island is Western Australia's very own island getaway. This afternoon we return to Perth with time to freshen up before dinner.  

Day 6 – Tuesday 7th FREMANTLE – AFTERNOON AT LEISURE (B,D)


This morning we explore Fremantle and ride on the Fremantle Tram Tour. Since 1985 Fremantle Tram Tours has been providing guided tours to thousands of the visitors to Fremantle aboard replica 'trams'. With the entertaining and educational commentary provided by the driver our passengers quickly discover the authentic charm of Fremantle that makes it Western Australia's most visited City. We then visit the Maritime Museum, with fascinating artefacts, lively exhibitions, fun activities and even the chance to board ships and experience life on the water. We then return to Perth with time to freshen up before dinner.  

Day 7 – Wednesday 8th HOME (B)

This morning we transfer to the Perth Airport for our return flight to Melbourne. We will be met by one of Cardwell’s staff and returned to our respective destinations at the conclusion of a most enjoyable tour of Perth and The Wildflowers.
