Tour Terms and Conditions: Deposit & Final Payment
- Deposit: $1,000 per person is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- Final Payment: Due by 10th April 2027. Full payment is required for bookings made after this date.
Host
- This tour is fully guided from Day 2 to Day 8, concluding with hotel drop-off.
- Operated in conjunction with Heritage Tours.
Passenger Pickup & Return Service
Cardwell’s Coach Travel offers included pickup and return from major towns across North, North-East, Central Victoria, and Southern NSW, including:
Albury, Wodonga, Wangaratta, Benalla, Seymour, Bendigo, Finley, Kerang, Echuca, Deniliquin, Yarrawonga, Corowa, and surrounding areas.
Passengers living outside these areas are provided with overnight accommodation in Numurkah and secure car storage at our depot.
Melbourne airport transfers are available for this tour for an additional surcharge.
Cancellation Policy
- Before balance due date: Loss of deposit.
- On or after balance due date, or once the tour has commenced: No refund.
Fares & Itineraries
- All fares and itineraries are accurate at the time of printing but may be corrected if errors occur.
- Changes in government taxes, duties, or transport operator policies are beyond our control.
- Airfares and other discounted travel options depend on availability of seats/berths.
- Once full payment is made, fares are fixed.
- Tour duration includes the day of departure and return. Fares do not include extra accommodation or transfers caused by en-route delays, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Payments made via travel agents are not considered received until confirmation or receipt is issued by Cardwell’s.
Cardwell’s reserves the right to cancel bookings or refuse travel if payment has not been received and may accept waitlisted passengers in place of those who fail to pay on time.
Eligibility
- Passengers unable to care for themselves, or whose condition may inconvenience others, may be refused boarding.
- Passengers needing assistance must travel with a companion.
Itinerary Changes
- Itineraries, tours, and cruises are guides only and may be altered without notice due to weather, road conditions, strikes, or supplier issues.
- Changes will be made in the passengers’ best interests.
Fuel Surcharge
- If fuel prices reach $3.00 per litre, a surcharge of $5 per person per day will be added to the final payment. Subject to change.
Seating
- A daily seat rotation system ensures all passengers have an opportunity to enjoy varied seating arrangements.
Luggage
- Coach: One medium suitcase per person (max 20kg / 42 lbs) plus one carry-on bag for hotel use. Over-limit luggage cannot be carried.
- 4WD Bus (Cairns to Cape York): One bag per person without wheels, max weight 10kg.
Force Majeure
- If circumstances beyond our reasonable control—including pandemics, terrorism, or other unforeseen events—prevent or delay the fulfilment of our obligations, such delay or non-performance will not be considered a breach of contract.
- Responsibilities are suspended for the duration of the event. Updated terms and conditions may apply once the event concludes.
