DAY 1 – Monday 20th January 2025 DUBBO

Welcome aboard for the exciting Tamworth 2025 Country Music Festival. Today we journey north into New South Wales to Jerilderie for morning tea, then on through to the Murrumbidgee Irrigation area of Narrandera as we make our way to West Wyalong Royal Hotel for our lunch. After lunch we continue through Forbes, Parkes and Peak Hill then onto Dubbo where we settle for our Overnight Stay at the Oxley Motel Dubbo.

DAY 2 –Tuesday 21st January 2025 Gilgandra - Tamworth

This morning we travel though Gunnedah and on to TAMWORTH the Country Music Capital, today we enjoy an introductory tour of Tamworth seeing the highlights of the Music Festival. We visit the Big Golden Guitar Tourist Centre with the 12 metre replica of the Golden Guitar and Gallery with life-like wax figures of Country Music greats, and see the Rock, Gem and Mineral display. You will have some free time to see many of the buskers who line the streets. We settle into Motel 359 for the Next Five Nights. (Includes Continental Breakfasts, each morning. Dinners are at your own cost.) This is a Budget Style Motel in Tamworth, with small rooms, in a GREAT location to take advantage of all the day and nights entertainment. It’s prime location is a major advantage.

DAY 3 – Wednesday 22nd January 2025 Tamworth Country Music Festival

After breakfast at the motel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL where the hills around TAMWORTH echo with the sound of Country Music. The music, which is about the bush, mates, tales of hardship and the Australian spirit, covers a broad range of musical styles. So, you will be guaranteed that your favourite style of ‘Country’ will be heard whether it is traditional Australian Bush Ballads, Gospel, Western Swing Dance Music, Rockabilly or Country Comedy.

Day 4 – Thursday 23rd January 2025 Tamworth Country Music Festival

Today is a free day for you to enjoy. Refer to your booklet for the day’s activities. As you stroll through the town look for commemorative plaques such as the Winners Walkway, Hands of Fame and more. Most of the entertainment is staged indoors with air-conditioned comfort.

DAY 5 – Friday 24th January 2025 Tamworth Country Music Festival

We enjoy a leisurely start today. Be sure to consult your Tamworth Guide book to see what is on, and where. You may choose to visit the Tamworth Visitors Information Centre and see “The Walk A Country Mile” exhibition. Continue to explore the festival’s highlights including maybe a free concert at Centennial Park at night (check guide for details).

Day 6 – Saturday 25th January 2025 Tamworth – Golden Guitar Award Night

After breakfast we board the Coach and make our way to see the Grand Parade (9am) in Peel Street. Maybe spot your favourite Country Music performers, Melinda Schneider, Troy Cassar-Daley, Beccy Cole, Lee & Tania Kernaghan, Sara Storer. This afternoon is free to do as you please. This evening we attend the Country Music Golden Guitar Awards at 7pm, recognizing excellence in Australian Country Music at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre. It features all the awards and performances by Australia’s leading artists, this evening is a real highlight of our tour. We hope that the calvacade is returning in 2024 but at the time of this brochure printing we are unsure.

DAY 7 – Sunday 26th January 2025 Tamworth - Dubbo – Parkes

After breakfast it’s time to pack up and farewell Tamworth. Then we make our way to Dunedoo passing through the small towns of Tambar Springs and Coolah. Continue on to Dubbo for our lunch break at the Dubbo RSL before making through Parkes to West Wyalong, where we settle in for our Overnight Stay at the North Parkes Motel, Parkes.

DAY 8 – Monday 27th January 2025 Forbes – Home

A relaxing day as we travel homeward along the Newell Highway to Narrandera for morning tea. Then it’s on to Tocumwal for lunch. After lunch we enjoy time to reflect on the great times together as we continue home, after a real feast of Country Music in Tamworth.

A deposit of $250.00 per person is required on booking to confirm your reservation.

Balance is by 1th December ’24 Full payment is required if booking after the above date.

Accommodation Preferred:- Single/ Twin/ Double rooms.

FREE PASSENGER PICKUP & RETURN SERVICE: For the convenience of all our passengers CARDWELL’S COACH TRAVEL provide Free Passenger Pickup & Return Service from all major Towns in North, North-East, Central Victoria & Southern NSW.  (For Example:  Albury, Wodonga, Wangaratta, Benalla, Seymour, Bendigo, Finley, Kerang, Echuca, Deniliquin, Yarrawonga, Corowa, and towns within these areas). For Passenger’s who live outside these areas Cardwell’s provide Overnight accommodation in Numurkah and ‘Free lock up car storage’ at our Numurkah depot.

CANCELLATION POLICY: To cover the costs involved the following cancellation fees apply.  Notice given prior to the Balance Date or more $25 per person Administration Fee and monies that have been paid on your behalf will not be refunded. After the Balance Date or once tour has departed No Refund will be given.

FARES & ITINERARIES: CARDWELL’S COACH TRAVEL costs published & outlined in the brochure are frozen, errors or printing mistakes are subject to correction. However, policy changes by rail/air/sea operators or changes in Government duties or taxes are outside the control of CARDWELL’S COACH TRAVEL. Air fares and other discount travel arrangements may be subject to availability of seats/berths, as determined by transport companies.  No increases apply once full fare is paid. The Tour duration includes the day of departure and the day of return. Fares shown make no allowance for extra accommodation or transfers necessitated by en-route stop-overs caused by rail/air/boat schedules, strikes or other reasons.  Your Travel Agent will forward deposits and other payments to us on your behalf.  Receipt of deposits and also subsequent payments by the travel agent does not constitute receipts of those monies by us.  There is no liability on our part in respect of any monies paid to your Travel Agent unless and until we notify you (by way of Booking Confirmation Advice or Payment Receipt Advice) that monies have been received by us.  CARDWELL’S COACH TRAVEL reserves the right to cancel any ticket or booking or to refuse to carry any passenger where payment has not been received by CARDWELL’S COACH TRAVEL and has the right to accept wait listed passengers in place of those failing to finalise within the prescribed time.

ELIGIBILITYNo passenger will be permitted to embark or continue on the tour while their mental or physical condition is, in the opinion of CARDWELLS’ COACH TRAVEL, such as to render them incapable of caring for themselves, or they become objectionable to other passengers.  However, any person/s who cannot travel independently or needs special assistance must be accompanied by a companion.

ITINERARY CHANGES:  Itineraries, tours and cruises are subject to alteration with or without notice and intended as a guide only.  Alterations may come about due to road or weather conditions, strikes, non-performance by a supplier or any other reasons CARDWELL’S COACH TRAVEL act in your best interest in any such changes.

AIR / SEA / RAIL – INDEMNITIESThe involvement of Airlines / Boat / Rail or any other relevant operator is as air / rail / sea & road carriers only.  They may be used in-conjunction with some of CARDWELL’S COACH Travel.  These carriers are not responsible for statements in this publication relating to those transport arrangements.

SEAT CHANGESA seat rotation system everyday ensures that all passengers have the opportunity to enjoy similar seating arrangements.

LUGGAGEOne medium suitcase per person, not exceeding 20kg (42lbs) and one carry bag for inside the coach.  Over limit luggage cannot be carried.

Travel InsuranceWe can arrange for passengers to take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances which may arise (including cancellation fees, medical & curtailment expenses, loss of luggage, early departure from tour due to death or illness etc.)  Ask your travel agent for details at time of booking.

FORCE MAJEURE: If by any means of any event of Force Majeure (which shall include terrorism, pandemic or any cause or event outside our control) we shall be delayed in or prevented from performing our obligations, then such delay or non-performance shall not be deemed a breach or entitle a damage claim. Our obligations shall be suspended whilst such event of force majeure continues. New terms and conditions will apply.
